In 2009, CustomMade was founded on a simple, but ambitious premise: make it easy to have something made just for you by the most skilled people in the world.
Originally an open marketplace where anyone interested in having something custom made could seek out an independent artisan to make it, we saw there was a large - and rapidly growing - demand to have things made one-of-a-kind.
In 2015, with the same goal of making custom easy, accessible, and amazing, we began to focus on revolutionizing the way jewelry is made: by using your ideas and unique style as the inspiration for every piece we design, using the finest techniques and materials available, and tying it together with a luxurious digital experience that rewrites the rules of retail.
