Spring Daffodils

Daffodils are the harbingers of Spring. I make them in various shades of yellow, including the 2-tone Narcissus featured here. They were one of my favorite flowers from "Mama's Garden," my creations that I flamework in honor of my mother. These creations are a combination of blown and solid work techniques. Each piece is made by melting soda-lime glass at my propane and oxygen torch. This first image stands 12.5"H x 11"W x 10"D. Your piece will vary based on the number of flowers and buds you select and the dimensions of the driftwood base that compliments it. I've pictured a small selection of daffodil/narcissus to give you a glimpse into the possibilities. I also can modify the design so the piece can be hung on the wall. My "Wall Flowers" are an excellent option for collectors with limited table display space or ones who are concerned about energetic pets or kids.
