How Maker fees work
-
Membership is Free
It is free to become a Maker on CustomMade, and there is no cost to sign up or to retain membership on the site. Instantly gain access to millions of potential customers, a secure payment platform and an unlimited portfolio to showcase your work.
-
Commission Fees
We get paid only when you get paid. Each time you receive a commissioned project or sell an item through CustomMade, you will be charged a fee equal to 10% of the total price of the project, excluding any taxes, shipping, or delivery costs.
-
Secure Payments Platform
For Makers based in the United States, CustomMade offers a secure payments platform, which is powered by WePay. Through the transparency of the WePay platform, customers feel secure knowing exactly where their money is going, and you know exactly when you will receive your payment. CustomMade deducts the commission price and processing fees directly from the customers payment, so you won’t have to deal with the hassles of invoices. (If you are based in Canada or outside of the US, please view our FAQs for more information.)
