In his Seattle workshop Don Sutkus crafts custom furniture inspired by the finest works of the past three centuries. Don is a graduate of the prestigious traditional furniture making program at the North Bennet Street School in Boston. When building furniture he relies on traditional methods of work and uses only time-tested joinery techinques. We build "Custom European Cabinetry," specializing in curved designs. All box construction parts are made of fine woods including exotic species. All hinges and slides are the finest quality available. The finishes are a multi-coat application of european brands. With more then 25 years of experience, Don makes use of natural wood colors by utilizing domestic and imported hardwoods and hardwood veneers to add color, texture and interest. The use of bent-form lamination, freeform styles and decorative inlays add additional character and personality to each piece.
