Arts & Crafts Dining Table

Arts&Crafts Dining Table

Material: Quarter-sawn White Oak
Finish: Waterbrne Acrylic Polyurethane

These clients wanted a big solid table for their breakfast room and left the style to me. I thought Arts&Crafts went well in their early 20thC. home and built this rather massive piece. The rectangular leg openings reference the windows, and with the lovely flake-patterned surface diminish the sense of bulk and complement the airy lightness of the room.

My shop has been in business for almost twenty years making furniture, cabinets, and architectural specialties for residential and commercial customers. I have worked in a number of styles, chiefly using native hardwoods. I enjoy working with clients to design pieces that will deliver a functional, esthetic, and imaginative satisfaction that mass-market products cannot match.

Area Served: Southeast PA,with some clients as far as Greenwich CT and Southampton NY
