studio furniture table

Undivided

While most of my work is more traditional, I designed this table with more of a studio theme in mind. I wanted to use contrasting woods, but at the same time wanted a harmonious flow to the piece.

The solid walnut center strip is flanked by the sides of two solid pieces of tiger maple, dividing the two sides, yet allowing the grain to continue to match along the length of the table.

The twelve sided, conical, base is made from walnut.

The table is 31”h x 42”w x 12”d. Other wood species and combinations are available.
