Artisans of the Valley is one of the few shops offering traditional “Connecticut chests” based upon original carving patterns. Full size, hope chests, blanket chests, and small scale chests are available with limitless carving themes, block front, plank designs, or painted Pennsylvania Dutch style.
Museum quality reproductions, built-ins, woodcarving, & sculpture, one-of-a-kind commissions from entertainment centers, Gothic, Duncan Phyfe, country furniture, libraries, cabinetry, bars, and folk art. Restoration services include conservation, preservation, or refinishing of antiques, artifacts, & collectibles by documented 18th century furniture makers and restorers certified in finishes, carving, structure, and veneers.
