Curved leg ebonized mahogany table with satinwood top
I made this table for a photographer whose home seemed to reflect a very refined taste in furniture and art. I wanted to make her something elegant and not too busy. I hoped it would be a piece that would blend in and yet maintain its own quiet dignity amid a dynamic art collection which included Man Ray, pre Columbian sculpture and some of the beautiful woodcuts from the era of the WPA.
