COFFEE TABLE
A fun piece, made almost entirely with scrap walnut leftover from other projects. It is often considered breaking the rules to have much exposed end grain. If so, then this piece is a renegade, as the entire top is end grain made of random sized pieces running in random directions with a random sprinkling of Osage orange. Leg attachments are made via a piece of Osage orange mortised into the legs and fully dadoed into the top. The Osage was milled out of an old fence post from Nebraska. Finish: Hand rubbed Linseed Oil, polyurethane and wax. DIMENSIONS WOOD
Each piece of custom handcrafted furniture that I create is functional fine art made with the intent to last many lifetimes. Even after 25 years in woodworking, it is always challenging, with no end to the styles, shapes, designs and combinations of materials. In a disposable society like ours it is refreshing to make heirloom pieces of furniture with soul. Area Served: We deliver or ship anywhere in the US and some international destinations. ![]() HOME |
