 Antique Pine TableThis French country antique (circa 1890) was bought at the Paris Flea Market. The table modification was commissioned by an interior designer from GA. I have added 4" in height (those Frenchmen were short) and made new side rails to a accommodate two chairs between each set of legs. The original finish was not changed, only the new wood was finished to match.
Living in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains of Western North Carolina, most of my commissioned pieces have been designed for use in "mountain homes". That being said, I don't consider myself a builder of rustic furniture. My furniture has a connection to the mountains in the organic materials I use. Reclaimed wood, salvaged wood, construction detailing and the choice of materials give my furniture design its originality and uniqueness.
