Walnut corner cabinet
The walnut corner cabinet pictured is 6 feet 6 inches high, 5 feet wide, 28 inches deep; and holds a 42-inch wide plasma screen TV. It has raised panels, and a carved frieze below the custom designed and built crown molding. The back is joined and reinforced tongue and groove to allow for access and to lend authenticity to the antique feel of the piece. The upper and lower doors are bi-fold and hung using Blum 180 degree hinges to allow for complete viewing of the screen. Below, there is adequate storage on shelving for components and dvd’s or tapes and equipment. The finish is French Polish rubbed out and waxed using restoration quality French walnut wax, and then hand buffed.
We build custom furniture and period reproductions, both French and English. Carving, veneering, and french polishing are done to the highest standards, using the best materials, (no contact cement or paper-back veneers are used, ever).
