Louis XVI credenza

Reproduction 19th Century Louis XVI curved front, false tambour credenza in Walnut. Hand carved patera above tapered fluted legs. two adjutable shelves inside cabinet. Actual use as t.v. and stereo component housing for flat screen surround-sound unit. Doors open out to make a 32" opening for access.

Finish is water stain, sealed with shellac, top coat acrylic lacquer hand rubbed with hand rubbed wax over that.

We build custom furniture and period reproductions, both French and English. Carving, veneering, and french polishing are done to the highest standards, using the best materials, (no contact cement or paper-back veneers are used, ever). We also do period antique restoration using hide glue for joinery and veneer restorations.
