This is an example of new construction around old architecture. We built around a fireplace chimney extended from ground level through an upstairs bedroom. Crafted from maple with a bleached maple finish, this bedroom unit has 16 drawers to store clothes, 6 doors to hide components, a place for a 42" flat screen TV, and pull outs for lap top and writing.
