Kaiden Tansu
The Japanese Tansu dates back 3 centuries and was originally used as stairs to get from one floor to another in a Japanese country estate. Its modular design allows for many functions and can be adapted to other sizes quite nicely. Shown is a Tansu built in solid walnut to house a turn table, records, and other media storage.
